About the Garden

Mak Mak City is a place where Cowboy Pickles roam free, maters ride motorcycles, and every t-shirt, sweatshirt, and hat feels like a postcard from a world you didn’t know you missed.

Our clothes are silly, sweet, and full of heart — just like the fruits and veggies that inspired them. They’re a love letter to my grandpa, a Korean War vet and full-time fashion icon (he never matched a single outfit in his life). His garden was his runway. His sense of humor? Pure chaos. He made people laugh just by existing and taught me that joy is something you can wear.

Every character is brought to life by my love, Hall — the artist behind the delicious chaos. Together we wanted to grow something that felt handmade, happy, and human. Every stitch, tag, and doodle is pressed, sewn, and dreamed up by us — from our little backyard garden to yours. Because at Mak Mak City, home is where the garden is — and everyone’s invited to the harvest.
